Mikail Hasan, an alumnus of Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) and the 2014 best West Africa Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) Student has shared how to learn effectively to pass exams.
In an interview with www.skyypowerfmonlone.com on how to learn effectively, Mr. Hasan posited “when you are learning, you shouldn’t just be opening the book and sitting beside the book, that’s not learning. For instance if you want to learn a definition, after learning it, you have to write it down to ensure that it sticks into your head. Some people think that learning is all about reading, reading, reading.”
“When you read and you don’t understand it, it means learning hasn’t taken place. So what you have to do is that, first you have to pray to God for an open mind and as you are learning you will be taking notes of certain important points because when you are going to write exams you can’t learn the whole book to go and write the exam so you take those important point and you write it maybe in your jotter or something so during the exams and you take the jotter and you read through it” Hasan’s trick.
The celebrated Takoradi resident, Mr. Hasan told www.skyypowerfmonlone.com that he like want to study medicine in University and specialize in Dentistry.
